Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules that apply when you access or use PlacedMe, including our web, app, and services.
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms are an agreement between you and BPTHK XYZ LLC. In these Terms, "PlacedMe," "we," "us," and "our" mean BPTHK XYZ LLC and the PlacedMe services we provide. By accessing or using PlacedMe, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use PlacedMe.

2. The Service
PlacedMe provides software and related services that help job seekers manage parts of their job search and application workflow. The service may include account tools, profile and career-data management, job discovery, application assistance, AI-assisted drafting, application tracking, automation, communications support, and other related functionality we make available from time to time.
PlacedMe is a software provider. We are not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, employment agency, background-check provider, legal advisor, immigration advisor, or career guarantee service. We do not make hiring decisions and do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, compensation, immigration outcomes, or any particular result.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use PlacedMe.
- You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting access to your email and devices.
- You may not create or use an account for someone else unless you have clear authority to do so.
- Access may be limited by waitlist, invite, availability, geography, compliance, security, or operational controls.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use PlacedMe and for the information you provide, approve, or authorize.
- You must provide accurate, lawful, current, and complete information.
- You must review information before relying on it or authorizing us to use it for an application or communication.
- You must have the right to provide any resume, document, credential, message, file, or other content you submit to PlacedMe.
- You must comply with applicable laws and any third-party terms that apply to sites, accounts, platforms, employers, or services you choose to use through or in connection with PlacedMe.
- You are responsible for monitoring your account, application activity, messages, deadlines, employer requests, and any required follow-up.
5. Your Content and License to Us
You keep ownership of the resumes, profile information, preferences, application answers, messages, files, credentials, and other materials you provide to PlacedMe or authorize PlacedMe to handle ("User Content").
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, generate, modify, transmit, display, and otherwise use User Content as needed to provide, secure, operate, support, analyze, and improve PlacedMe; comply with law; enforce these Terms; and perform actions you request or authorize. You represent that you have all rights needed to grant this license.
6. AI, Automation, and User Authorization
PlacedMe may use artificial intelligence, automated systems, hosted browser activity, integrations, and human or operational review to provide the service. You authorize us to process your information and take actions on your behalf when you request, approve, configure, or enable those actions in PlacedMe.
In Review Mode, you must take the applicable in-product action before PlacedMe treats an item as application intent. In Automatic Mode, your opt-in authorizes PlacedMe to identify eligible opportunities, queue them for application assistance, prepare materials, and process ready items under our system limits and checks.
AI-generated and AI-assisted outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or unsuitable, even when we use safeguards. PlacedMe does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, quality, acceptance, deliverability, or effectiveness of AI output, application materials, match explanations, application answers, or application statuses.
7. Application Activity
When you authorize application activity, you permit PlacedMe to prepare, transmit, receive, store, organize, and use application-related information as reasonably needed to provide the service. This may include sending information to employers, career sites, applicant tracking systems, service providers, and other third parties involved in the application workflow.
- We may delay, throttle, cap, pause, decline, retry, or stop application activity for reliability, compliance, security, abuse-prevention, third-party platform, or operational reasons.
- We may require additional information, credentials, verification, or user action before continuing an application workflow.
- Running or already-submitted activity may not be cancelable.
- We do not guarantee that any application will be submitted, received, processed, viewed, accepted, or acted on by a third party.
8. Third-Party Services
PlacedMe may interoperate with websites, platforms, employers, applicant tracking systems, job data providers, email providers, AI providers, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers, and other third-party services. We do not control third-party services, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, privacy practices, security, decisions, or actions.
Third parties may reject, delay, block, suspend, limit, remove, lose, or fail to process information, accounts, messages, applications, or submissions. Some third-party services may restrict automation, AI assistance, account creation, or submissions. You are responsible for understanding and complying with third-party terms that apply to you.
9. Accounts, Credentials, and Communications
Some workflows may require credentials, account creation, email addresses, mailbox access, messages, attachments, or other communication tools. You authorize PlacedMe to create, store, access, use, classify, display, transmit, and manage those items as reasonably needed to provide the service and the actions you request or enable.
You must not use PlacedMe to access accounts, systems, messages, or data that you do not own or have authority to use. We may restrict, rotate, invalidate, delete, or stop using credentials, mailboxes, messages, or integrations for security, compliance, abuse-prevention, deliverability, or operational reasons.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not use PlacedMe to:
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, work history, education, right to work, sponsorship needs, salary expectations, legal disclosures, or other application facts.
- Submit applications for roles you are not authorized to apply for, or on behalf of another person without authority.
- Bypass MFA, captcha, anti-bot, rate-limit, identity-proofing, access-control, or security measures.
- Scrape, crawl, overload, reverse engineer, probe, disrupt, or interfere with PlacedMe or third-party services.
- Upload malware, unlawful content, infringing content, or confidential information you are not permitted to use.
- Harass, discriminate, defraud, spam, or violate applicable employment, privacy, export, sanctions, or anti-abuse laws.
- Use PlacedMe to build a competing service or resell access without our written permission.
11. Our Rights to Protect the Service
We may monitor, review, investigate, restrict, suspend, terminate, remove, disable, or refuse accounts, content, destinations, requests, workflows, submissions, integrations, or features when we believe it is necessary to protect PlacedMe, users, third parties, deliverability, platform relationships, security, compliance, or our business interests.
12. Fees and Paid Features
PlacedMe may offer free, paid, subscription, usage-based, invite-only, beta, or limited-access features. Pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, cancellation terms, taxes, and refund rules will be disclosed in the applicable checkout flow, order form, invoice, plan description, or written agreement. Unless we state otherwise, fees are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Intellectual Property and Feedback
PlacedMe, including our software, designs, workflows, trademarks, documentation, and non-user content, is owned by us or our licensors. You may use PlacedMe only as allowed by these Terms. If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and delete information. By using PlacedMe, you acknowledge that application submissions and job-related communications may involve sending your information to employers, ATS platforms, and service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Beta Features and Availability
We may release beta, preview, experimental, waitlisted, or limited-access features. These features may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time and may be less reliable than generally available features. PlacedMe may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, or degraded because of maintenance, outages, third-party failures, security events, capacity limits, or other reasons.
16. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of PlacedMe. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version. If required by law or if changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Termination
You may stop using PlacedMe at any time and may request account deletion through the product where available. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, misuse the service, fail required checks, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute terms, and privacy-related provisions.
18. Disclaimers
PlacedMe is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, security, reliability, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BPTHK XYZ LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, lost goodwill, employer decisions, third-party platform actions, AI output errors, application errors, or security events beyond our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to PlacedMe is limited to the greater of 100 USD or the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim in the six months before the event.
20. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify BPTHK XYZ LLC from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of PlacedMe, your content, application information you provide or approve, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of third-party rights or platform terms.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at hello@placedme.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the dispute informally.
Unless a different forum is required by applicable law, courts located in Maryland will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or PlacedMe. These Terms do not include a mandatory arbitration clause.
22. General Terms
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us for PlacedMe.
